Kasseri Cheese

A great cheese I tried today is Kasseri. It's made from unpasteurized sheep's milk and some goats milk may be added. The milk needs to be unpasteurized to develop it's distinctive rich flavour. It really packs a punch on flavour with real depth. Great on it's own with bread no meat needed I felt.
It looks very much like your regular cheeses from Woolies creamy gold in colour. It taste nothing like those bland cheeses. It becomes a little Oilly as the temperature rises but remains solid when grilled or fried.

Great cheese definitly worth a try.
